The Records
Unique content – Most of the documents making up our record database have not been listed or available elsewhere online. We concentrate on fresh content and the more difficult records to index. Much of the information we have is not listed within official service records.
The records are unit War Diaries covering those serving in the UK and every theatre of the war. Also detailed files covering casualties in action and a variety of records on operations. These WW2 Military records are listed in more detail on each page of that part of the armed forces.
Compiled mainly from records held at the National Archives, Kew
In addition, records for Commissioned Officers are often supplemented with the first commission date taken from the London Gazette.
